Like AAA when you need to do the work yourself
Desperately needed to change my air filters but didn’t have the time to drop my car off at the dealership. Felt like any entry level enough “repair” I could fix myself. Called an auto tech through this app, they talked me through how to access my air filters, we confirmed they needed to be changed, told me the price range I should expect to pay for new filters and how to make sure I walked away with the right ones. Made working on my car feel totally doable which is no small feat. I imagine I’d use this service again if I was in a bind and AAA had a long wait time.
Helpful App and Easy to Use!
I have a couple vintage cars and on the weekends I love working on them. When it comes to auto repair, I don’t prefer going to a car mechanic- I love working with my hands and know I can save money if I work on these passion projects myself. I’m self-taught and I’m not knowledgeable about everything. When I do have questions, Tinker provides the expert help I need for working on my own cars, with boosted support from a pro. The app is easy to use and navigate, it’s reasonable, and it’s reliable.
